Cambia il tempo, la coscienza collettiva, le conoscenze a nostra disposizione, cambiano le esigenze, il modo di vivere, lo spazio abitativo, cambia la casa.
Oggi, certamente, possediamo nuove acquisizioni su come è fatta la realtà che ci circonda. Le nuove scienze, che hanno sempre più un ruolo centrale nel nostro modo di percepire il mondo, ci fanno comprendere che tutta la materia è costituita da una stessa sostanza chiamata 'energia', particelle e onde elettromagnetiche, che si differenzia soltanto per tipo di vibrazioni e frequenze. Questa energia, ci dice la fisica quantistica, non conosce barriere e quindi ogni cosa sembra trovarsi in stretta interazione con le altre, dipendendo decisamente dalle relazioni che crea. Se è vero tutto ciò, come sembra essere, non possiamo che porci in modo differente verso ciò che consideriamo 'fisico' e quindi anche verso lo spazio che costruiamo per il nostro abitare. Un edificio non è più soltanto materia densa, indipendente da tutto il resto ma anche specifica massa di energia in stretta relazione con le onde elettromagnetiche di chi ci vive e con quelle di tutto ciò che lo circonda.
Una rivoluzione nell'ambito della conoscenza che ci porta obbligatoriamente a nuove prassi.
Se una casa è anche energia e quest'ultima, abbiamo appreso, si distingue per una 'qualità' dovuta alle sue 'alte' o 'basse' vibrazioni e frequenze e alle interazioni istituite con ciò con cui entra in relazione si dovrà allora, quando si progetta una abitazione, cercare di ottimizzare questa energia. Si potrà imparare allora che le forme non sono tutte uguali, ogni forma, e quindi lo spazio derivato, determina un tipo di radiazione elettromagnetica che migliora o peggiora la vita di lo abita, così come ogni materiale, colore, luogo, ecc.; che forme similari tra loro entrano in risonanza amplificando il potenziale delle loro emissioni; che alcune configurazioni geometriche più di altre (p.e. quelle concavo - convesse) consentono il libero fluire dell'energia al loro interno e al loro esterno. E probabilmente molte altre cose che oggi sconosciamo totalmente o intuiamo appena.

La ricerca sulla casa a spirale nasce da queste premesse. E' una ricerca architettonica che pratica precise scelte non per 'formalismo' ma per creare migliori condizioni abitative sulla base di una nuova coscienza contemporanea. Nuovi spazi per nuovi uomini un pò più consapevoli della loro reale essenza.

La spirale è una forma particolare, semplice e complessa allo stesso tempo, che simbolicamente ci rimanda ai codici della vita, ai principi e ai ritmi dell'universo, ecc. Ma, ciò che più importa ai fini del suddetto ragionamento, è il suo alto potenziale energetico determinato dalle diverse frequenze delle sue differenti spire e dalla possibilità di entrare in risonanza con tutte le infinite spirali presenti in natura, nelle galassie, nel corpo umano, ecc. La spirale poi, proprio per la sua particolare configurazione geometrica e le sue caratteristiche meccaniche - dinamicità, fluidità, continuità, ecc - genera spazi in cui l'energia fluisce liberamente.

In ultimo lo studio della 'casa a spirale' si inserisce nel solco della ricerca architettonica contemporanea che indaga nuove concezioni spaziali e linguaggi progettuali (informale, geometrie frattali, ecc) per interpretare esteticamente (oltre che costituire un nuovo modo di abitare) questa epoca contrassegnata, anche per la visione energetica acquisita, sempre più da termini quali complessità, molteplicità, dinamismo, continua trasformazione, ecc. Una ricerca progettuale ormai consolidata a livello internazionale che ci allontana sempre di più dal rigore della geometria euclidea, e da qualsiasi forma di razionalismo, spingendoci verso una sorta di nuovo organicismo che impara a ri-adottare le forme curve percependone soprattutto le loro relazioni con il macro e il micro cosmo.

THE SPIRAL HOUSE
Towards Holistic Living

Times change, the collective consciousness changes, the knowledge available to us changes, our needs change, our ways of living change, our living space changes, and our houses and homes change.
Today, we certainly possess new knowledge about the reality in which we live. The new sciences, which increasingly have a central role in our way of seeing the world, allow us to understand that all matter is made of the same substance called “energy”, particles and electromagnetic waves, which are only distinguished by their vibration and frequency. Quantum physicists tell us that this energy does not know any barriers and so every thing seems to find itself in close interaction with every other thing, being decidedly dependent through the relationship created. If all this is true, which it seems to be, we need to begin to relate differently towards what we consider “physical” and therefore towards the space which we build for our homes. A building is no longer only dense material, independent of everything else but also a specific mass of energy in strict relationship with the electromagnetic waves of the people who live there and everything which surround it.
A revolution in our sphere of consciousness which obliges us to look at new ways of doing things.
If a house is also energy and the energy distinguishes itself, as we have seen, by a “quality” determined by its high or low vibrations and frequencies and by the interactions created with those things it enters into relationship with, we should, when we plan a house, also try to optimize this “new” dimension linked to energy. We can learn therefore that all forms are not the same. All forms, and therefore the derived space, determine a type of electromagnetic radiation which improves or worsens the life of the person or people who live there, as does every material, colour, place etc, . We are able to understand that similar forms enter in resonance amplifying the potential of their emissions, that some geometric forms more than others, for example concave or convex, allow a greater flow of energy inside and outside themselves. And this will be probably true for many other things which we do not know about at all or we are beginning to sense.
The research on the Spiral House arises from these thoughts. It is architectural research which has precise choices, not for “formalism”, but to create better living conditions based on a new, contemporary understanding. New space for new men who are a little more knowledgeable about their real essence.
The spiral is a particular form, simple and complex at the same time, which symbolically takes us back to the codes of life, to the principles and the rhythms of the universe, to the movement of energy, etc, . But the most important thing at the end of the above reasoning is its high energetic potential determined by the different frequencies from the different whorls and from the possibility of entering in resonance with all the infinite spirals present in nature, in the galaxies, in the human body, etc, ( it has been shown that the spiral is one of the basic forms of the universe). The spiral can, because of its particular geometrical configuration and its mechanical characteristics – dynamism, fluidity, continuity, etc, - generate space in which energy flows freely.
Lastly, the study of the Spiral House fits into the line of contemporary architectural research which is looking for new spatial concepts and design language (informal, fractal geometry, etc,) for interpreting aesthetically (in addition to building a new way of living) this era characterized by its complexity, multiplicity, dynamism, continuous transformation, etc because of its new vision of energy. It is design research which has been consolidated at an international level and which moves us away from the rigours of Euclidean geometry and from any type of rationalism. It pushes us towards a type of new organicism which is learning to readopt curved forms perceiving above all their relationship with the macro and the micro cosmos.
